A prison turned into building more friendly in fact not always turn into a tourist destination. Some prisons even transformed into a luxury hotel pampers guests. One of them is the Hotel Het Arresthuis at Netherlands.
Who would have thought if the hotel was once used as a prison. The building is already built since 1863, since that time the criminals were detained here. The long journey of this building as a prison stopped completely in 2007.
Then, the construction of Het Arresthuis Hotel started. Today everything else has changed. If the first building has 150 cells resistance to the criminals, the building now has 36 luxury rooms.
Not reflects of the scary in the past, this hotel is now equipped luxury facilities and services that will pamper guests. All furniture provided fairly luxurious and modern. To impress the prison does not necessarily go away, every hotel guest will be given a bathrobe with a room number on the back like a prisoner clothes.
