The Government and people Throw Oranges each other in Italy

When in Spain festivals celebrated by throwing tomatoes, different again to Italy. Pizza in the State, its citizens to war oranges!

In City Ivre, Italy, there is a unique celebration called Carnevale d'Ivrea where townspeople and tourists fought toss oranges during the festival. Unknown origin of this tradition, however, allegedly because during the Middle Ages, ordinary little people fight with the government.

Although similar, the war orange festival in Italy more regularly than La Tomatina. In this festival Carnevale d'Ivrea, City Ivre is divided into two teams fight each other.

One team representing the government, using the stroller around town. While, another team symbolizes the little people, divided nine working groups and the government was attacking team.

Throwing oranges necessarily sicker than throwing tomatoes. If you do not want to come, wearing a red hat so you can comfortably watch this festival.

La Tomatina festival held in the city of Valencia, Spain. The participants are fighting with each throw tomatoes, all done purely for fun.

1945 is the beginning of La Tomatina Festival. Starting from an accident when a young man is in a stage fight and stand nearby vegetable outlets. They spontaneously take tomatoes as weapons. In the following year, the youth did return to deliberately bring their tomatoes.

Festival held every last Wednesday in August stopped several times, even quite serious punishable participants. However, after a long journey, the festival has now officially become an annual event with a few rules that must be met.

After the party, you will notice how dirty the city of Valencia is also the participants. They are all covered tomato red color and sticky sap from the fruit vegetables.
